Hello everyone,

That’s the 2nd highest domestic opening for 2026 (so far) and the highest opening for a biopic ever. It made TWICE AS MUCH as #2-10 made domestically. The #2 movie at the domestic box office was “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie” with $20 million which is now at $385 million total domestic box office.
Thanks to “Michael” the domestic box office total zoomed up to $150 million which is the 2nd highest 3-day weekend of 2026 so far (“The Super Mario Galaxy Movie” opening weekend made $199.3 million – thanks to “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie” which made $131.7 million). That makes it the #6 biggest worldwide box office of 2026 (so far) after just one weekend.
