Dammit Jim, he’s an actor! And, the new face of Captain Kirk is now set to be a boss much closer to home than his usual position commanding a space ship out on the final frontier. With a relatively modest $35 million dollar budget for ‘Horrible Bosses’ bringing in a box office tally nearly four times that, it seems a no-brainer to keep feeding this cash machine until it runs dry.
‘Horrible Bosses 2’ brings back Jason(s) Bateman and Sudekis, alongside Jamie Foxx and Charlie Day in their original roles. I can’t help but be reminded of the ‘Taken’ franchise, where I keep wondering just how many times that fellow can have something taken from him and still make a film. Likewise, just how many bosses are these lot going up against in the world? Be interesting to see if and or how they can keep this fresh.
