Apparently the big corporations behind the perennial money loser Hulu decided that it would be more prudent to continue pumping money into the platform, rather than not have anywhere for people to watch their television shows.
The odd thing about the whole works, is that the owners of the content are the ones charging so much to Hulu, that Hulu can’t generate a profit. It’s only odd because the people charging so much for the content also own Hulu.
Gotta love Hollywood.
