Well, the re-re-re-re-boot machine seems poised to keep on re-re-booting. Jamie Foxx joining the ranks of the latest version of Spidey and friends, which seems to have their new villain painted like an angry Smurf. Apparently this is keeping in line with the comic book reboot of this character (does this stuff ever end?) though, I’ve got to admit, his suit looks way cooler than the green tights and yellow professional wrestler shorts the character used to feature.
I remember working a bit on the first, most recent reboot of this story and not being overly impressed. Mr. Foxx is quite a talent though, perhaps his presence will infuse something worth watching here.
