Well, talk about striking the iron while it’s hot. And, boy do they keep striking that iron. The odd thing is, they keep connecting. The audiences seem to be in no short supply for the Marvel universe brought large to the screen. The cynic in me keeps waiting for them to get cocky and overstep their good will.
But, however you want to shake a stick at it, the world loves these films. Truth be told, I’m one of them, and I’m not even a comic book fan boy. At the end of the day, everyone of these pictures has been well crafted, entertaining, and just enough tongue-in-cheek to keep the absurdity at bay.
A year’s time will tell how well they can hold it together. If they do, Marvel production coupled with Disney marketing might just overcome The Mouse’s House apparent inability to recognize what makes a good franchise. *Cough* ‘John Carter’ *Cough*.
