Like I’ve been saying for ages, I think the mighty Lone Ranger will be a mighty disappointment. I actually started the bet at work which said that Tanto and company wouldn’t cross $150 mil in the first 30 days of N. American release. I’ll actually give up the dough, as it will probably end up doing at least that.
But, it sure doesn’t look good at the moment for another big Disney tent pole at the box office. Yet again. Maybe if the mighty marketing Mouse would focus more on original content than screwing with copyright law, they might not be laying so many people off.
