I had originally expected some sort of A-list neurosis driving this article and nearly didn’t bother to read it. I’ve since changed my mind, and actually support Mr. Carrey in his sentiment.
The gist of the article being that, after the recent violent school shootings, Mr. Carrey no longer feels that it is in good conscience to glorify the level of violence that is apparently in the new Kick Ass 2.
I for one applaud his efforts. Now if he could just get back to talking with his butt cheeks, the world might be a safer place still.
