Top 100 Most Anticipated Films of 2013: #45. Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street | Ioncinema.
Scorsese – DiCaprio at it again, this time in an ode to the excesses of everyone’s favorite people on the planet…bankers and other associated financial types.
How this only managed a paltry 45 is a bit beyond me, because Gravity is right ahead of Wolf on the list, and I’ve seen early footage of Gravity.
Didn’t do a thing for me. The Scorsese flick, however. Maybe. Jonah Hill and Matthew McConaughey round out the names on the marquee, with a tale of excess and debauchery that really lets us know just how useless these “people’ really are.
It just stinks that some asshole out there might aspire to this life just by watching the film.
