It appears that production on set has been stalled a bit by an enterprising group of folks that have stolen the copper wiring right out of the walls.
Metal prices being what they are these days, these conniving criminals have managed to make off with over $300,000 worth of wire. And a couple of computers for good measure.
$300,000 doesn’t sound like a bad take, all things considered. Especially considering the best reward for information the Atlanta PD could dream up was $5000.
Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, David Koechner and Steve Carell will likely be getting busy pretty quick though. Can’t imagine the Apatow / Paramount team will let a little $300,000 wire theft slow them down.
They do have to buy all that hairspray though. And polyester. That stuff adds up.
